PLN 5.1 million – that’s how much the biotech company Bioceltix received from the so-called “Fast Track” financing initiative. The Wroclaw-based company is developing breakthrough stem-cell-based biopharmaceuticals designed to treat pets. At the same time, as one of the first companies in Europe, Bioceltix plans to submit its pharmaceuticals for full registration with the European Medicines Agency as a veterinary product – one that utilizes stems cells as an active substance in the treatment of degenerative diseases in dogs.
